Home Detox was the first home based detox program established in the United States. Home Detox opened its doors in 1995 and has successfully detoxed thousands of clients over nearly two decades.

Home Detox utilizes licensed medical professionals only! We do not use "coaches" or "recovery partners" which are typically just individuals who themselves have undergone detox and have one or two years of sobriety under their belts. Home Detox utilizes Registered Nurses, who are on-call 24/7 throughout your detox.

Home Detox is confidential. You do not utilize your insurance company and you shouldn't because a medical record of treatment for a substance abuse problem can negatively impact your ability to obtain health or life insurance in the future. It can also impact future employment where prospective employers may be able to obtain medical histories on prospective employees.

With Home Detox, the nurses come to you and you detox in the comfort of your own home. With In-Patient Detox, you are often placed on a locked unit, you sleep on a plastic-covered mattress, you adhere the their schedule, not yours and they use a "cookie cutter approach" where you are the "addict" and they know what is best.

With Home Detox, each treatment plan is individualized to the client's needs. We work with the client to schedule nursing visits that work with the client's needs, and aside from the initial visit to the physician's office, the client never has to leave home or miss work to continue their detox.

Home Detox works because our nurses and physicians work with you. You can start your detox any day of the week and you don't have to lose time from work or school, and best of all, you get to stay in a comfortable environment, your home.
